Water, a common amenity in the city is not so common in a typical West African village. Water sources are mostly streams and rivers, dirty and diseased. These water sources have multiple functions for the community making it unsafe for drinking water. ARMM, along with its partners, have dug wells in several villages bringing safe drinking water to areas that have been in dire need.

Mothers and children no longer have to walk for miles to access water.
